Emmaus Furniture Mine is the largest furniture re-use charity in North Staffs and is now owned by Emmaus North Staffs. We accept donations of household furniture (sofas, cabinets, wall units, beds, tables, chairs, etc), office furniture, small electrical items, books, DVDs, clothes, shoes, bags, collectables, and bric-a-brac to sell onto the local community. WEA was formed in 1903 and is now the largest voluntary sector education provider in the UK. The CHEST (Community Health Education Stoke-on-Trent) project is funded by the BIG Lottery Reaching Communities. This is a temporary contract to cover the maternity leave of the permanent project manager.

As a Trustee Director of the Broad Horizons Enterprise Centre (registered charity in the name of the Coventry Young Person's Enterprise Centre), I was part of a small board who oversaw the centre management, development, finances, occupancy & staffing. Due to a downturn in trading income and difficulties for the board to turn this around, the centre management was handed back to Coventry City Council in June 2014 and the charity was dissolved in early July 2014.
