Examples of projects I am involved in are as follows:Offering new country entry advice to one of the largest independently owned European restaurant companies who are planning to open a UK and Irish network of high quality restaurants and bars. Services offered to date include supply chain management, site selection, UK HQ location selection, marketing, franchise sales and translation and implementation of operational standards. I am also working on the recruitment of the UK/Irish teams to manage the roll out of the brand with 30 new units per year.I am working with a large independently owned fuel/convenience store operator in the UK and Ireland. I have been advising on the setting up of a new franchise division within the existing business unit which will focus on non-fuel income growth and will include operating fast food and non-food franchise brands from within the fuel forecourt areas. Responsible for the growth and development of the Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins brands across the European and Russian marketplace. Reporting to SVP International Development based in Boston my role involved frequent travel to the European markets and the USA. Negotiation and execution of major development agreements for new market entry positions within Scandinavia and central Europe generating significant income potential. Recruitment of master franchisees for the UK, Ireland, & Eastern European markets. Non-traditional investment on motorway and travel hub locations to increase points of distribution The role included accountability for the assessment of high net worth individuals and organisations who wished to invest in Dunkin brands. Reviewing the financial and experiential ability to grow 25 sites over a 5 year development agreement with minimum investment levels. Responsibility for the market mapping and territory management for each market to maximize growth opportunities.
