- Oversee all legal matters regarding LG ESMI manufacturing facility in Holland, Michigan- Serve as compliance lead for all compliance activites, including managing each department's compliance managers- Assist the company in all matters related to manufacturing and expansion of the facility, including land acquisition, local rezoning matters, and local, state, federal grant applications - Assist environmental and safety teams on environmental laws and OSHA/MIOSHA, including applications for any licenses and permits- Work with HR to deal with employee relations issues, lawsuits, and settlements- Create and implement internal policies for the facility, including confidentiality, recordkeeping, and reporting- Assist the construction team with negotiations and review long-term construction contracts- Provide legal counsel and strategy regarding all North American activities for LG, including Joint Venture activities- Retain and delegate legal tasks to outside law firms for additional expertise and counsel - Serve as a communication liasan for HQ in Korea and subsidiaries in United States with bilingual translation on all legal matters- Write and review contracts

- Write and negotiate contracts, including NDA’s and EULA’s - Provide legal opinions on privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA- Assist the compliance team in creating and finalizing company policies for state and federal audits- Assist the marketing team to ensure that promotional and advertising materials are legally compliant

• Familiarized with statutes and regulations of National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to advise Hyundai Headquarters in Namyang, South Korea• Managed and organized thousands of product litigation data points and numbers• Drafted legal correspondence between the technical center and Hyundai Motor branches in the United States and South Korea
