Smart Cloud offers a multithreaded AI decision support framework in F#/.NET. Clients include a European government concerned with VAT fraud and a Florida chemical plant planning to “go green”. My contributions included developing a calculator for real-time inference, implementing a free-form NL parser prototype, and ensuring agile Test-Driven Development throughout the company.I received glowing performance reviews, but I was affected by a company-wide layoff.

G2 is a real-time production-style expert system, running in Common Lisp ported to C. Customers included DuPont, NASA, and Asahi Breweries. My backend contributions included garbage-free file system access and time- and memory-bounded system calls into UNIX and VMS. My frontend contributions included an OLE implementation of drag-and-drop for G2's visual programming UI, and Java syntax autocompletion as a UI into G2's remote procedure invocation feature.
