I am an insurance litigator and advisor who represents policyholders in claims against their insurance companies. I specialize in property and business interruption insurance for commercial property owners in the education, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, mining, retail and multifamily housing industries. Over the past 15 years, I have helped policyholders recover nearly $4 billion in damages, representing property owners in connection with some of the nation's largest and most important catastrophic property losses, including the attacks on the World Trade Center and natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornados, floods, and earthquakes.

I am an insurance litigator and member of Lowenstein Sandler's Insurance Practice Group. I represent clients in litigations and alternative dispute resolutions involving insurance coverage and complex commercial matters. My experience includes general and product liability, directors and officers, investigations, employment issues, toxic torts, as well as property damage and business interruption. I have practiced in federal and state courts as well as in domestic and international insurance and reinsurance arbitrations and mediations throughout the country. I also advise clients with respect to insurance coverage issues that arise during purchases and sales of assets and mergers and acquisitions. In this role, I assess potential liabilities, including tort, product, and environmental liabilities, and identify potential sources of insurance coverage for those liabilities. Additionally, I advise clients on insurance matters that impact day-to-day business activities, such as proper approaches to claims handling and drafting of contracts to maximize coverage and minimize subrogation risks.
