GreenLight Fund works to provide opportunities to low-wealth children, youth and families in high-poverty urban areas by finding the intersection between greatest community need and social innovation. Our work is guided by the community. We execute a consistent annual process designed to partner with the local community to identify critical social needs. GreenLight Atlanta will lead the search for the most innovative and high-performing nonprofits that can be successfully expanded to meet priority local issues. Our goal is to import the most promising, ground-breaking answers to some of Metro Atlanta's most challenging poverty-related issues. Honored to take a two year leave from the private sector to serve in a full time, 100% volunteer capacity as the 25th National President of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., the oldest and largest African American family organization in the United States with 10,000+ mother members and 40,000 family members in 38 states. Since its founding in 1938, the nonprofit organization remains committed to improving the lives of all children through programs focused on leadership development, cultural exposure, community service, social advocacy, and philanthropic giving. Key areas of responsibility included overall strategic direction, organizational growth and membership development, support of Executive Director's charge to optimize national headquarters operations, innovative program development and execution, financial management, forging new and strengthening existing strategic partnerships, and organizational spokesperson. In addition, served on board of the Jack and Jill of America Foundation.

Founding member of CSW Private Equity Investments, LLC., a New York based private equity firm specializing in buyouts, recapitalizations, and growth capital financings in fundamentally sound middle market companies. Key areas of responsibility include deal sourcing, due diligence, value creation via providing consultative support to portfolio company management teams in all areas of operation, performance monitoring and board representation. Served on the board of privately held, Berkshire Blanket, Sqwincher Corporation, and H20+ Plus.

Member of Vitality Sr. Management Team, reporting directly to COO. Responsible for all Marketing and Customer Service activities for two subsidiaries - Vitality Foodservice and Pasco Brands (Retail division) Seven direct reports and a staff of 45 FTEs. Functional areas of responsibility included Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category Management, Market Research, New Product Development, Customer Service, IT and HR.
