By examining how marginalized voices reclaim their stories in the aftermath of societal trauma, the work aligns with principles of diversity, equity, and inclusivity (DEI) by emphasizing the importance of representing diverse experiences and histories in literature.This research also engages with restorative justice practices, as it highlights the need for acknowledgment and healing in communities affected by systemic violence and neglect. By analyzing the ways in which literature acts as a medium for memory and reconciliation, my work underscores the transformative potential of storytelling in fostering equity and justice for historically marginalized populations.
