I was involved with the development of a new application to allow for the sale via auction of non-performing loans (NPLs) and their associated assets. My role centred on mapping the to-be process, creating the requirements for the system and planning, estimating, and prioritising the user stories into development sprints. I worked closely alongside both onshore and offshore developers during the sprint, running daily stand-up calls during the sprint cycle. I then worked alongside a test team to manage the acceptance testing through to release. I worked across multiple functions of the project, dealing with multiple workstreams at the same time.

I was a Senior Business Analyst working with JDX Consultants, working on the development of the IT infrastructure across the company to provide a solid technical foundation in order for the company to achieve their ambitious growth plans. This included the deployment of a new service desk, an asset management system to manage the hardware and software requirements throughout the business across offices in Europe, the USA and the Asia Pacific region. I also worked on the integration of all JDX systems to allow for automated, streamlined processes, specifically centred around the on-boarding and off-boarding of new consultants. My final task was the development of a risk management system to enable Board level stakeholders to effectively understand the strategic risks to the company.

Agile Business Analyst with The Riverside Group, a major provider of affordable housing and care and support services in England and Scotland, managing over 56,000 homes across over 160 local authorities. I am the Business Analyst on a Salesforce implementation to manage the repairs on Riverside properties. My role is centred on capturing and managing the business requirements, translating those into user stories which can then be placed into a backlog and managed through regular sprints. I work closely with onshore and offshore development teams during the development phase and then manage the user stories through testing and business acceptance to deployment.

Working on on the creation, deployment and ownership of the internal 'release factory' to handle business change within the Mortgages business. I was initially tasked with the creation of the new process, which then evolved into gaining senior stakeholder (board level) buy-in before rolling the process out to the business. I managed the day to day work of the internal development teams and also fed into the planning and scheduling of offshore development resource for larger releases. I owned and developed the product road map and engaged with the wider business to ensure that the roadmap reflected the strategic vision of the bank. During my time at Aldermore, I had to use my stakeholder management skills to ensure that not only are stakeholders engaged and supportive of the new process, but conflict between both requirements and stakeholders is managed. This has been especially important given that multiple teams use a single, shared development resource.

I was the Senior Agile Business Analyst and at Brother Europe, working on a sales and marketing transformation project to implement SAP Hybris and C4C. My role involved working with 25+ European countries to decommission their current marketing & lead management systems & replace them with one centrally procured SAP based system. I worked closely with each country to develop the product roadmap, and then managed the end to end product delivery. I managed a team of offshore developers and testers and ran user story refinement sessions, sprint planning sessions, daily stand ups, backlog reviews, sprint retrospectives and the testing and was responsible for the business acceptance of new functionality. I was also responsible for the roll out and training of users on the new system in each European office. Given this was a centrally procured replacement for country specific systems, stakeholder management was a significant part of my responsibilities.
