Advising clients on deployment of Infor EAM enterprise asset management product, for purchasing, inventory, asset management, resource management and work planning / scheduling. Focusing on clients in the small to medium E & P players of the Oil & Gas sector. Business process mapping, product selection / tuning, training and post ‘Go-Live’ client support. The Infor product integrates seamlessly with SUN Systems GL, providing a natural partnership for clients looking to elevate to the next level of system compliance, in their organic life cycle of growth.

Implementation & continuous development of Maximo EAM database. As DBA I have held a pivotal role in all of the stages below:First implementation of Maximo; mid 90's Version 4 and then upgraded to Version 5, approx 40 users.In 2005 post acquisition upgraded to Version 6.2 and rolled out across larger business.Integrated into business accounts (GL) system (SUN Systems 4), replaced exiting purchasing system with Maximo and also adopted full inventory control via Maximo along with utilisation of MRP.In 2010 upgraded to Version 7.1.16 and SUN Systems 5, providing an improved platform for further customisation required by the business.This version change enabled the next project; implementation of 'CLICK' for automated scheduling of work orders / resource. The final major project was the development of a suite of customised modules for Wind Farm Management. These were designed by in-house wind management team and led to the total independence of wind farm management, ending external management contracts. The Maximo ‘Wind Farm’ modules are a lucrative ROI for the business. Such is the success, they are potentially being viewed by other wind farm operators for deployment.

Initial role was O & M fitter when business first started to invest in LFG power generation with dual-fuel sets, this involved shift & call-out periods along with gas field management. Over a period of time held several different roles, including original implementation of Maximo. Final position was supervisor of 4 power stations prior to promotion of Maximo DBA.

On completion of apprenticeship joined the service department. Main focus became installation & commissioning of steam turbines, but also included service visits both in UK and abroad on all products. Final 4 years spent as a contracts engineer in service department, tendering, sales visits, technical advice for maintenance & spares, again both UK and overseas.Full mechanical apprenticeship, this included machining, fitting, fabricating, drawing office and tool room functions for the following products; pumps, steam turbines and diesel engines.
