I served with the Leicestershire Constabulary for 30 years, retiring in 2010 in the rank of Constable. During my service I predominantly served with the Traffic Division, and as such gained and developed my skills with the detailed investigation of fatal road traffic accidents.I also developed the role of Family Liaison Officer, which entailed direct dealings with the families of deceased victims, being their main point of contact right through from the incident to the conclusion of the enquiry.During my service I was also a qualified Firearms Officer and also successfully qualified as a Police Air Observer on the East Midlands Air Support Unit.I also successfully qualified as a Specialist Sexual Offences Investigating Officer, Peace Trained Interviewer, I also had a detailed and extensive experience in the preparation and submission of complex criminal case files appertaining to serious road traffic and crime related offences.Since retiring from the Force in 2010 I am currently the General Manager for Crouch Recovery vehicle compound at Lutterworth Leicestershire, and now have Managerial responsibility for Operational matters at our new compound at Coalville, Leicestershire.Full summary of Role as below.
