Serves as Deputy Chief, Strategic Initiatives Group (SIG), in the office of the Director, Futures and Concepts Center (FCC). Provides essential direct assistance to the Director by developing, synchronizing and distributing key elements of his vision and strategic objectives to internal and external audiences in support of future force modernization. Provides independent, multi-disciplinary analysis of topics relative to immediate Director decision-making, especially those that span the staff's knowledge base and require a unique and unencumbered viewpoint. Collaborates with internal staff and external organizations to develop and plan engagement strategies with senior Army leaders, U.S. Government senior officials, interagency personnel, think tanks, and academia. Conducts calendar management and analysis, and reviews key staff products for content in accordance with the Director's guidance. Performs in-depth research and historical analysis of select topics across DoD, Academia, and Industry in support of the CSA's initiatives. Requires frequent travel around the world to acquire first-hand knowledge, meet with subject matter experts in a wide range of professional fields of study, and application of information against a variety of experiments. Assignment as a fellow with the CSA SSG requires unique experience, innovative thinking and a high level of intellectual capacity.

I routinely created informative presentations and briefing products distributed and used daily be senior military executives enabling them to make key decisions affecting policies and priorities of Pacific-based military organizations. I directly mentored 12 personnel in my field of expertise and provided professional growth and career advice on frequent basis. I vonlunteered over 300 hours in support of a not-for-profit military service organization and representend more than 200 members as President of the local chapter.
