Jon has a vast array of experience in the crop protection and chemical industries. Jon gained valuable field training serving as research biologist intern for American Cyanamid in Iowa, USA during his college years where he studied Agri-Business. After graduation Mr. Bennett returned to Australia and began his career at Rhone-Poulenc Rural where he served as Territory Manager in Griffith, NSW launching several novel key actives into the rice and broadacre markets. Jon went on to further his career with multiple sales, management and leadership positions in Crop Care such as Technical Sales, Seed Sales & Regional Manager and remained there for nearly 14 years. In addition, Jon obtained his Graduate Diploma in Agriculture from the University of New England and a Graduate Certificate in Business Sales from Charles Sturt University. Jon continued his management and chemical experience with Akzo Nobel, a market leader in surfactant and formulation technology, as their Australia & New Zealand Sales Manager. For the past 10 years Jon has been the Eastern Broadacre Territory Business Manager for Bayer CropScience. There he sells and services Bayer's range of crop health, protection and canola/cotton trait products to agents throughout central west NSW. Most recently Jon became the recipient of the 2020 Global Sales Excellence Award for his sales contribution to Bayer CropScience.
