Jon Bloomberg has been an environmental attorney for over 30 years, with a national practice involving all the major regulatory programs but focusing particularly on the Clean Air Act. Jon has significant experience in permitting, compliance and enforcement matters across a range of industries, including refining, petrochemical, wood products, pulp and paper, mining, and general manufacturing. Jon has advised clients on the creation and implementation of compliance programs and processes, stakeholder engagement, sustainability plans, and environmental justice issues.Jon has a B.S. degree in economics from the University of Minnesota and a law degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Cornell University. He also has taught environmental law at the University of St. Thomas Law School and Mitchell Hamline School of Law. He has served as a citizen member and Vice-Chair of the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board and was a board member and chair of Environmental Initiative.
