Leading Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance (IRM) and construction campaigns, I gained invaluable experience working offshore on dive-support vessels (DSVs) and various construction vessel types. I managed subcontractors and executed workscopes in a highly regulated, safety-focused environment.My career began in nuclear physics, where I specialised in the detection, measurement, and characterisation of ionising radiations, particularly gamma and neutron technologies. At Sellafield, the UK's largest nuclear licensed site, I provided on-site consulting and operations support to critical plants like MOX and THORP. Additionally, I contributed to the design and commissioning of bespoke radiometric assay systems, showcasing my technical prowess and attention to detail.A staunch advocate for nuclear power, I firmly believe it plays an indispensable role in our global energy mix. As the only large-scale, scalable solution for baseload generation, nuclear power holds the key to achieving a genuinely low-carbon, low-materials-intensity, sustainable future.On a personal note, I pride myself on being a team player with exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude.
