As the only large-scale, scalable solution for baseload generation, nuclear power holds the key to achieving a genuinely low-carbon, low-materials-intensity, sustainable future.On a personal note, I pride myself on being a team player with exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude. I thrive in delivering challenging, complex, and technical projects successfully. Lead Engineer on subsea inspection, repair, maintenance and construction projects.Highlight of this job: using a marinised subsea digger (connected by umbilical to the surface) to uncover a damaged pipeline from an FPSO, isolating an entire subsea field from multiple potential pressure sources, cutting 10" pipe with 2 x diamond wire cuts, removing, installing a "smart" flange and lay down and tie-in of a spool and flexible pipeline back to the riser base.
