• Responsible for the management, delivery and development of high quality community based substance misuse services • Providing line management, supervision and coaching support to a team of managers, senior clinicians and frontline staff• Utilising performance data and audit information to monitor outcomes for clients and improve performance• Developing effective partnerships with local statutory, voluntary and independent sector organisations, including sub-contractors and delivery partners, in order to improve services and outcomes for clients• Maintaining the quality of service delivery through ensuring that complaints from clients and external stakeholders are fully investigated and responded to appropriately• Ensuring that incidents are recorded and managed appropriately and that learning from incidents is captured and used to inform service development and improvement• Investigating grievances, staff complaints and breaches of disciplinary policy and acting as hearing manager in line with HR guidelines and policies where appropriate • Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations, audits and improvement plans including acting as registered manager where required• Providing financial and budget management of contracts • Maintaining close and effective relationships with commissioners in order to influence decisions and enable the service to develop and improve • Leading on the identification and management of risk, setting controls and escalating issues to senior management team as appropriate• Leading on service and pathway re-design and overseeing implementations of new initiatives and innovations• Championing the principles of co-production and ensuring that all services keep the needs of the person using our services, and their families and significant others, at the forefront of everything we do• Responsible for the implementation and closure process of contracts, including staff transfer, as required

An exciting project which sought to match South West SME’s who had an innovative project or idea for growth, with access to an ambitious graduate who could deliver a 6-9 month project in their business, supported by expert mentors at the cutting edge of their field. Project managed the successful delivery of the project and worked with businesses direct to explore their capacity to grow, scope potential projects and provided support throughout the lifespan of the projects.

Working as a project manager and facilitator across a range of innovative sustainability training and personal development programmes which sought to expand the work of the charity outside of its famous Cornish base. Responsible for developing and delivering a range of projects and products primarily within Eden’s engagement programmes for businesses and young people.

Funded by the Department for Education to enable Addaction to achieve a cultural change and embed a more family focused approach across all of its 75+ projects and over a 1000 staff. Responsible for delivering and designing training packages, monitoring and evaluating progress, developing effective communication plans and encouraging and empowering staff to become involved in the process.

Managed the delivery of a three year national pilot project, Young Addaction PLUS, which sought to transform the treatment of young people with substance misuse problems by taking a more inclusive and family focussed approach. The project was funded by the Big Lottery Fund and employed 13 staff across five sites throughout the UK.
