I led four key technical teams in the Health Systems department: research, monitoring & evaluation; impact analysis; management information systems; and strategy, innovation & best practise. I also led on strategy development for the 39 MSI offices.

As Country Director in Uganda from 2010 to 2013, I oversaw an increase in annual turnover from $3 million to $16 million per annum, and an increase in staff from 110 to 330. We won and successfully delivered two historically large grants from USAID and Dfid worth $38 million to deliver SRH services in every state of Uganda through a new social franchise network, clinics, outreach and by using output based aid. We increased our reach in terms of reaching the most vulnerable with SRH services, and integrated HIV, cervical cancer screening and treatment and STI testing within our SRH service package.
