Jon Cottrell is a Co-Owner of Couple A' Nerds Productions at Altamont Group. He possess expertise in time management, coaching, public speaking, teamwork, sales and 14 more skills. His skills and work ethic were superior. He became the captain on the team because his teammates realized they could look up to him, trust his judgment, and rely on his help. Because of these qualities, when I realized Jon would be around for a third year, I asked him to join me as an assistant coach during the 2008-2009 season. During this year, Jon took on the responsibility of preparing the Parliamentary Debaters for competition. With his expertise he guided one of the strongest debate squads MJC has had in many years. With two State and National award winning teams that year, Jon showed he had great skills to guide others. His attention to details was instrumental in the success of these two teams. For these reasons, even today, I ask Jon to come by as a guest lecturer when he has time. Finally, let me talk about why Jon will be a top employee. Jon is at heart a kind and giving person. He attracts friends because of his helpful nature. Jon is an unselfish team player. I have seen him on numerous occasions sacrifice his own success for the greater good of everyone he is working alongside. If Jon sees that something is not working he will come to you and talk about the situation, or his solution, frankly. He wants to understand where you are coming from before making any final judgment. This is so refreshing. You would be making a huge mistake not hiring Mr. Jon Cottrell.
