The last 22 years have seen me develop and grow within the British Army culminating in a senior management position (WO1), where I provide advice and guidance to multiple organisations specifically regarding training and the necessity to adhere to policy and legislation. Having spent the majority of my career focusing on training as an instructor and team manager, I have been able to enhance my knowledge and skills to develop my leadership and foster team excellence. This has led to organisational aims being met whilst also shaping and streamlining processes, ensuring that the teams I've mentored consistently met the high standards expected.I pride myself on being highly adaptable, resilient and self-driven to achieve any task or project, whether that be working individually or collaboratively. With a drive for excellence in all that I do and together with a focused team I was previously able to manage and nurture talent and create a team which was seen as the focal point for innovation and improvements.Having also spent the past couple of years focusing on my continual development, outside of work I have also been able to achieve a First Class Business Management Degree with the University of Lincoln become a Chartered Manager (CMgr) and a Member of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI).Outside of work I strive for adventure and participate in numerous ultra-distance running and biking events. In recent times this has focused on long-distance cycling with the next being a great opportunity to cycle through Scotland, England and Wales on Aug 24.
