Director of Undergraduate Sport Programmes and Senior Lecturer in strength and conditioning at London Sport Institute, Middlesex University. I teach within the BSc Sport and Exercise Science: Strength and Conditioning Degree, as well as across the undergraduate sport science spectrum. I hold degrees in Sports Rehabilitation and Strength & Conditioning, which provides a good balance between injury and performance subjects. My consultancy interests involve coaching S&C for a variety of athletes at a range of standards including Olympic level. I consult for the Football Association and British Military and provide information and programming to cycling athletes at various levels of performance. This lead me to opening a coaching business www.cyclingstrengthcoach.me. My personal research interests are within various aspects of road cycling, and professionally I am undertaking a PhD in epee fencing where I’m investigating the intricacies of footwork techniques.
