Jon qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991. From 1997 to 2004 he was a corporate finance, tax and forensic partner in PKF. He formed JDC Corporate Finance in 2004. Over a professional career spanning 25+ years Jon has acted as a lead adviser on over 100 sale and purchase transactions, structured numerous minority shareholder exits and has been the key adviser to many MBO teams. Throughout his professional career Jon has acted as retained adviser to individual company owners and as a non-exec board adviser to various businesses across a range of sectors.In addition to his corporate finance and advisory work, Jon regularly advises on the strategic and tax aspects of corporate reorganisations, restructuring and refinancing and leads JDC’s specialist shareholder services initiative providing share valuation, shareholder exit and dispute resolution services. Jon has a nationwide reputation in share and business valuations and has been appointed by the High Court to provide independent expert opinion in this area on many occasions.
