Business Development
CurrentWell developed practices that lead to securing highly engineered, unique solutions culminating in single source bearing positions at major aerospace accounts and high tech industries. Included are commercial aerospace, military aerospace and space accounts. Initiated RBC entrance into the semiconductor equipment industry in 1997 and securing several sole positions at accounts such as Applied Materials and others that continue to generate segment revenues that exceed $10 Million today. Strong background in coordinating the creation of custom designed or selection of standard bearings for specific applications between company and customer engineering and purchasing groups. Experience managing the process from prototype to procurement. Managed major Aerospace accounts such as Lockheed Martin and grew it from $135k a year to $2.5 Million. Very familiar with Raytheon, Boeing, General Atomics, MOOG, Blue Origin, Space X, ATK, Aerjet Rocketdyne. From rocket engine turbo pumps to flight control actuators for Airbus A350-900 aircraft, to helicopter rotor systems. Raytheon and Northrop satellite systems for actuators, solar arrays, rocket engine valves. Reading drawings, understanding the requirements and communicating critical aspects of the project leading to closing with purchase contracts. Able to function without supervision or direction, proven ability bring in major accounts, work major programs classified and tactical military hardware. Able and comfortable making one on one engineering sales calls to the design engineering groups at the accounts mentioned. Worked the major tactical and classified defense electro optical systems such as JSF, New Glenn, Falcon 9 Merlin engine, Apache TADS/PNVS, AR1, BE-3, BE-4, Dragon capsule, Missile seekers-JAGM, Aim9x, Maverick. Airborne SAR, synthetic aperature radar, gimbals of all types-airborne and ground based.
