As Director, I lead a diverse team of technical specialists. I have lead this team through a number of changes including the shift from field work to policy development. Additionally my team has adapted to hybrid work environments.

As a project manager with Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, I have been involved in many public health initiatives. I worked with senior officials within Alberta Health, Alberta Health Services and other ministries to develop policies and positions relating to public health• various supervisory roles• Participate at the Alberta Health Emergency Operations Centre for Fort McMurray Fires• Work with other divisions, ministries, and provinces to address health concerns related to the development of cannabis legislation and policies• Oversee the development of a provincial strategy

• Provide technical knowledge relating to food safety and other public health issues• Chair various working groups including the Accountability and Reporting Workgroup to address the Auditor General recommendations• Manage Food Regulation revisions • Assist in the coordination of enteric outbreak responses• Assist in the development of key performance indicators for Environmental Public Health programs• Respond to inquiries from various levels of government and public
