Head Of Design, Engineering And Process Safety
CurrentMy role as Head of Design, Engineering and Process Safety includes responsibility and accountability for all design, engineering and process safety on the Springfields nuclear site. I am responsible and directly accountable to our regulators for all aspects of safety and compliance within these areas; specifically, I am accountability for the safety of our workforce, the local population and the environment. I am responsible for providing safe systems, processes, procedures, plant and equipment to ensure that environmental, health and safety protection is provided. It is to be noted that Springfields is unique in the UK being both a COMAH Upper Tier and Nuclear licenced site; I am directly accountable to our regulators for satisfying legislation relating to these licences.
