The Royal Marines Police Troop is the Military Police asset for 3 Commando Brigade Based in Plymouth. Responsibilities and achievements during this time include;• Worked as part of the Unit Investigation Element on lengthy investigations, reporting to the Police Office Manager.• Worked alongside the Royal Military Police Special Investigations Branch whilst deployed to Afghanistan on a number of high level and sensitive investigations.• Provided training and support to the Afghan National Police.• Provided close policing support in Norway and Afghanistan.• Participating in joint patrols of Plymouth with Devon and Cornwall Constabulary.Passed selection to attend Royal Military Police Close Protection Course.
