Solutions Architect (Servicenow)

Reston, Virginia, Us

Subject matter expert and lead author for CACI's multi-billion dollar Air Force EITaaS Wave 1 proposal, awarded August 2022. The content included details of the architecture for the ServiceNow platform, its integrations, and apps, development and deployment processes and a break down of roles required for the work. I also demonstrated possibilities of automation, AI and machine learning in subsequent BPA orders based on this BPA. I authored key proposal content that supported the technical design and weaved it into other parts of the proposal such as ITSM, BYOAD, and CMDB, to name a few. My role involved understanding the RFP, RFQs, and RFIs, understanding CACI's capture management and business development processes, understanding the previously implemented EITaaS risk reduction effort, learning relevant parts of the DAF's IT processes/procedures, and working with our partners to generate a solution that satisfied the RFP.Lead architect and technical supervisor of a team of in-house engineers to research, design, architect, develop, and maintain repeatable components used by project teams across the organization. I lead the research for this effort, reaching out and interfacing with dozens of project teams across the organization to gather data. With the help of a teammate, I led biweekly collaborative workshops, conducted polls, interviews, and surveys with project teams. I created and presented road maps that align with the objectives of my business line and ensured that the team's daily tasks aligned with our road map. I delivered live demonstrations of new features, capability briefings to leadership, quick reference guides, development documentation, and produced many 1-2 minute video recordings depicting how project teams could use each new capability.
