Broadbent Group is a small, privately held investment company that manages a diversified portfolio of assets with an emphasis on real estate. Our investments consist primarily of short term real estate arbitrage plays and long term residential and commercial income property. We also deal in the acquisition of real estate notes, offer short term collateralized loans, make angel investments, and hold other small business interests. The Capitol City Angel Fund is the third of four private equity funds under the umbrella of the Boise Angel Alliance, a network of active angel investors dedicated to improving the ecosystem for small businesses, startups and entrepreneurs in Idaho. The Capitol City Fund is comprised of individual accredited investors in the greater Boise area who have invested more than $1M to invest in local startups. Together with the previous two funds and co-investments by individual angels in the Alliance, more than $8M has been invested in companies who have approached the Alliance and raised money through one of the funds.
