I had the responsibility for leading and managing an Information function containing multiple teams across Wales covering all aspects of reporting and analytics;- analytics- report and dashboard development- official statistics- data quality and reporting standards

I created and managed SQL Server databases, stored procedures and OLAP cubes in order to develop fully automated Business Intelligence Solutions. By using the Microsoft BI Stack, I developed KPI Scorecards, Dashboards and Performance Management Systems. I performed Database Administration functions, such as performance tuning, development of ETL processes and management of backups and security.I produced user guides and documentation, providing software demonstrations and training workshops where necessary. I attended meetings to assess strategy and reporting requirements and to establish Key Performance Indicators. I undertook Project Management roles, such as implementation of a Data Warehouse and creation of a Work Management System. I was promoted to the role of Information Manager.

I used SQL Server and a variety of reporting tools to analyse contact centre Key Performance Indicators. I had responsibility for administering the contact centre telephony software. I achieved promotion to Senior Information Analyst.

I was responsible for a team of clerks producing and analysing Management Information and reporting KPIs to boardroom level of a multinational company. I analysed revenue streams, profitability, marketing spend and website development. I recruited team members and conducted performance reviews. I had responsibility for managing a project with an annual turnover of £1m+.

I was responsible for the Reception Team within the Stolen Cheques department, supervising two members of staff producing statistics and banking payments. I enhanced my communication skills by liaising with the police, post offices, banks and the general public to discuss and report fraudulent activity. I worked on an IT project which comprised of user acceptance testing, devising a training program and delivering training.
