J.D. Candidate at Tulane Law School (class of 2025), interested in litigation and bankruptcy. Spent my 2L summer working as a Summer Associate for Morris Nichols in Wilmington, DE. Worked with a variety of practice groups, drafting memos on securities law issues, bankruptcy sale protections, and much more. Observational opportunities included viewing deposition practice, bankruptcy court proceedings, and client calls. During my 2L Spring, I earned pro-bono hours while volunteering for the United States Trustee Program in the New Orleans office. Was able to draft research memos, sit in on attorney meetings, attend debtor/creditor 341 meetings, and learn from great bankruptcy attorneys.Spent my 1L summer working for Timberlake Smith in Staunton, VA. I drafted memos in support of motions for pending litigation on topics such as the federal abstention doctrine, collateral orders, admissibility of expert testimony, qualified immunity, and much more. Received my B.A. in Political Science and International Studies with a Spanish Minor from University of North Carolina Wilmington, graduating cum laude in 2022. Competed as a Division 1 javelin thrower on the Track and Field team at UNCW and during my 1L year of law school at Tulane.
