    While working at Bretton, I was part of a team that taught students in the following disciplines:• Printmaking • Digital Media• Conceptual ArtEach discipline followed a robust curriculum, teaching them the fundamentals and more traditional methods but were designed to break boundaries and allow the students to think outside of the box and allow their creative skills and ideas to produce high quality and thought-provoking work.We encouraged experimental processes in the use of all mediums especially Printmaking and Digital and allowed crossover from other mediums to flow into students work, allowing for innovative thought processes to create work which was thought- provoking and exciting.Brief writing was shared amongst the team, with briefs being reviewed and tweaked where necessary, allowing for a collaborative end result which would allow marking to be fair and consistent.Along with my tutor duties, we would also invite well known artists to talk to the students when they were working at the college or the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. This exposed them to current artists and ways of working, providing a solid foundation for them to draw from and allow them to expand their knowledge and understanding of what was going on in the art world.
