I have loved working for EMCOR UK for the past 18 years, I have worked with some amazing people and on some great projects. My time has come to move on to gain some more experience and to keep moving forward. The opportunity I have been handed by MITIE to work at a place like NATS was something I had to take and I am very excited to get started.

Running £5M Project at NATS replacing 2 Chillers and 12 Adiabatic Dry Air CoolersContracts Manager onour QinetiQ Contracts atMOD Boscombe Down The role as a Contract Manager is to manage a team in a smooth and effective manner to run the projects we have on site. Accountable and responsible for the correct implementation of front-line customer engagement and co- ordination to ensure a consistent and professional approach is applied throughout. To deliver the consistent workloads of all types of projects and reporting platform, covering all activities across the entire projects, from initial enquire through to project completion. The role consists of• Managing a team of Supervisors and Engineers. Carrying out appraisals and setting objectives. • Collate and track new project enquiries through to completion on EMCOR's in-house software package.• Develop and maintain individual client report trackers accurately and issue to a frequency agreed by customer. • Complete Client tracker to a detailed level that allows local, regional, national monthly / quarterly reports, are collated in an efficient and timely manner. • Resource monitoring to allow peaks of workloads to be identified and managed. • Organise and co-ordinate all project handovers from quoting to operational. Ensure all costings are tracked throughout the Projects to ensure profitability. • Operational groups in site set/start up, utilising consistent template/framework. • To maintain direct communication lines with customers as and when required to ensure they are provided with clear and accurate updates at all times. • Ability to introduce new ideas and improve efficiency of the entire contract. • Monitor and report the performance of the services of third-party suppliers across the contract against agreed KPI’s and promptly identify action plans for improvement of services where required.• Monitoring of accurate budgets, reporting where required reviewing the cost and spends and acceptance.

My role within EMCOR Group (UK) plc was to run small projects from start to finish on the Electrical/Data installs. To assist my Manager of all aspects of the projects as required. This consisted of quoting small jobs ordering of materials and leading my team to deliver the projects on time. To communicate clearly with other personnel and departments. To achieve a high level of operational and working standard. To carry out and complete site visit documentation and the induction of sub-contractor visitors to site. To comply with all aspects of H&S from writing RAMS to carrying out site safety inspections.

My role entailed liaising with customers both face to face and over the telephone in a friendly and professional manner. Carry out all aspects of electrical works from the install of 400mm cables to 1mm cables. The install of cable management systems, this includes galv conduits, 150x150mm galv trunking to 900mm cable trays. Overseeing all parts of the electrical install from first fix to test and inspection.
