Educated to Degree level, I subsequently experienced the whole spectrum of professional football from the heights of International competition with Northern Ireland including World Cup and European Championship Qualifiers, to my early and final seasons in the semi-professional ranks. I played over 200 games in the Championship and over 500 professional games in total. Ten years as a Qualified Teacher followed, combining the acquisition of the highest recognised Football coaching qualifications. These experiences developed my leadership skills and launched my progression into managerial/executive roles where I successfully evidenced the ability to lead individuals and teams to achieve and surpass aims, objectives and goals
