As a full stack developer and project lead for the QuickStart project at Assurity, I have been delivering high-quality solutions for various insurance products since April 2022. QuickStart is a white-labeling platform that allows Assurity clients to quote and purchase insurance products such as Accidental Death, Term Life, Income Protection, and Critical Illness, with more products in the pipeline.I started as an individual contributor working on the Income Protection project, which was successfully completed and deployed. I then moved on to the Critical Illness project, which also achieved its objectives and met the client’s expectations.I now lead a team of five talented full stack developers for the next QuickStart project. I am responsible for creating and assigning Jira issues with detailed descriptions and estimated hours for each iteration. I also provide guidance and support to the team members, helping them understand their work assignments and overcome any technical challenges. I enjoy doing paired programming with each member to ensure code quality and consistency. Our team has always met the expected timelines and delivered impressive demos after months of development.QuickStart is a front end UI built in Vue.js, with a backend that relies on ASP.NET Core, SQL, and MongoDB.
