In cooperation with the trucking and transportation sector of my business, the many years of occupational safety administration and implementation has allowed for a positive aspect of my experience to carry over to other businesses and their respective supervisory personnel. From laborers to seasoned operator, administrative personnel to executive level interfaces. The implementation of a “Culture of Safety” has proven to benefit morale, productivity, and of course mitigate fiscal losses.

After a long career in the construction industry, I decided to invest in myself by committing to a business that would utilize my decades of related experience in the construction and transportation industry to provide a more meaningful legacy for my family. This investment has proven to be a milestone opportunity and has flourished since the day we opened our doors.

This position has been a wonderful opportunity for myself and my family to serve the greater community with our own respective skillsets and abilities. Many of the responsibilities are in the form of organization of events, public services such as providing meals to community members, sourcing staple necessities for those in need and more importantly providing a willing and able person to assist when needed.

Upon joining the Interstate/Oldcastle team, I utilized my skills as a competent equipment operator and driver to ensure that I was a beneficial member of the operation system. In time I progressed through the proverbial ranks by expanding my responsibilities to training new employees, sitting on the board of several safety and operations councils, and finally ending my time there as the transportation supervisor/Dispatcher.
