I also helped select the amazing host of 1A, Jenn White, as a member of the hiring team.By understanding the full ‘listener to donor funnel,’ and developing decision making matrixes for major target stations, I drove major syndication and audience growth with the promotional materials I created and the distribution sales strategies I implemented.I built on-demand and podcast audiences for 1A to over 50k downloads per episode; and made 1A the fastest growing daily show on public radio during this time using a combination of close promotional coordination with industry partners alongside digital and event marketing campaigns.With no ad-budget the audience for the critically acclaimed podcast Through The Cracks from WAMU exceeded 1.2 million downloads in an eight-episode season as a result of the ridiculous talent of the producers Jonquilyn Hill and Poncie Rutsch, along with my audience development plan and the email newsletter I helped produce. -
