Completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics and Composites Engineering with a minor in Materials Science. Coursework included polymer and composite processing, CAD modeling, tooling design, polymer chemistry, CNC machining, and materials characterization. The program culminated in a capstone project on FDM optimization for production of reactive overmolding tooling.

Engineering intern working on developing a prepreg production process for Norplex-Micarta with a lab-scale solvent-based prepreg treater system. I qualified separate treater components for fabric unwinding, dipping, drying, & spooling and refined process parameters to optimize key prepreg material properties as defined by the customer. I also characterized the resin content and dimensional stability of manufactured prepreg material per specification test procedures.

Engineering intern on an Air Force-funded STTR grant fulfilled by WWU to study the optimization of additive manufacturing for high dielectric strength. I developed experience with the injection molding & 3D printing of high performance polymers and characterized the effects of additive loading level on polymer compounds via DMA.

Independently organized and completed vital engineering procedures for spacecraft assembly, includingsatellite instrument development, test design and verification, and field testing.
