I have always worked in the electronics industry. I learned at a young age that working with electronics would lead to a rewarding career. I began as a Junior in high school learning electrical theory and the basic platform of electronics in a program with Lewis and Clark Technical School. My senior year I learned more about circuit components and microprocessor programming. At the beginning of my senior year I was hired by a satellite installation company that installed C and Ku band satellite dishes as this was before digital satellite had made it to the United States. During my senior year I enlisted into the United States Marine Corps Reserve. I did this as I wanted to at least serve our country, but still keep my focus on my electronics career. I have always envisioned myself working on circuit board level repair or even manufacturing. Unfortunately jobs on those levels did not feel as rewarding. I eventually moved on to the communications side of things, working for a cellular company and then I got an opportunity to work in residential low voltage. This opened many doors into all areas of communications and low voltage. I have wired, installed, and programmed many types of systems. Residential and Commercial. I have been in this field for over 23 years now. I am always looking to learn about new products and solutions for our customer base. Even after all these years I still learn and apply what I know, especially in troubleshooting or even answering another tech's call for assistance. I believe in being a team player and passing on my knowledge to those willing to learn.
