Leverage requirements and documentation to ensure that mission needs are met, to provide sub-teams with a scope of work, and to ensure that activities and decisions are traceable. • Extensive experience working directly with NASA’s Near Space Network, the Johnson Space Center Flight Operations Directorate, international governmental aerospace organizations, and multiple private operators of spacecraft and launch vehicles. Provided technical direction to a cross-discipline team of software developers and flight dynamics engineers to maintain and enhance software capability. Defined math models, logic, and orbital mechanics for the software, as well as developed software requirements and wrote test procedures• Extensive experience in real-time console support for critical launch, on-orbit, ISS-rendezvous, and reentry operations as well as routine navigation and trajectory product generation support for TDRS and NASA Earth Observing Satellites.

In the engineering, maintenance, and support division my primary responsibilities included: Directing operations of the network of approximately 500 remotely operated instruments• Coordinated instrument supply, site distribution, and flow through the calibration facility.• Wrote comprehensive VBA programs that can easily move instruments, predict supply and shortages, and clearly communicate this information to colleagues.• Coordinated short and long term deployments around the world, providing the bridge between site managers, scientists, and administrators.Evaluating field data and providing troubleshooting solutions to site management• Evaluation necessitated a thorough understanding of the relation between the science, instrumentation, and processing systems of AERONET.• Communicated with local site managers to evaluate data and correct anomalies, and trained collaborators and develop instructional material concerning instrument operation and data interpretation.In charge of integrating sphere calibrations and temperature corrections• Analyzed and applied calibrations, which required interpretation of instrumental changes while in the field and maintenance performed at the calibration facility.• Analyzed historical data for trends in order to create defaults for missing characterizations and to flag and evaluate outliers.Maintaining calibration equipment and ensure compatibility with network standards• Developed calibration standards based on data quality requirements and uncertainty based on instrument limitations. • Monitored the integrating spheres for fluctuations and develop corrections for bad calibrations.*in the same role but employed by Sigma Space Corporation from April 2012 to Dec. 2014
