I am currently semi retired but still working in a part time position within the transport area of a major supermarket. This is a team and customer facing position.

Working in conjunction with MOD and Fujitsu as a consultant in the role of Project Manager working on transition of DFTS from the BT platform to Fujitsu.

Working with the Welsh Government (WG) on a £530m Welsh Superfast Broadband Project (Fibre To The Cabinet / Premise,  FTTC / FTTP / FTTX).

Working on the Firelink Project for the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG). This was a Prince 2 led project to roll-out the new Fire and Rescue Service Tetra -Wide Area Radio Network.

North Regional Ground Based Network Manager (covering 16 Police Forces).  A role managing multi-skilled teams and 3rd Party Resources, designing and placing orders (purchase orders) for Satellite Links (VSAT), Radio sites including HOP Sites and Resilient Rings, Telemetry Lines, Wideband, Narrowband and Baseband (Including Equipment) to enable the successful delivery of the network for Airwave transmission sites. Developing and building customer and supplier relationships, providing telecom services to 850 Airwave base stations on time and within budget.Site acquisition, Wayleaves and access permissions to ensure the successful delivery of the telecommunications network. During this time I was also involved in the design and assurance testing of the Airwave Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) which could be deployed to maintain communication in tunnels and other structures. It was used in the London Underground during the 2007 terrorist attacks.
