Seeing the job advertised Jon thought it was an idea time for a new challenge back within the Sales but still in the marine industry. Jon looked after the whole South Coast from Hastings to Cornwall and along Wales to London. He interacted well with Boat Builders and Chandlery's making sure they where fully stocked and all technical advice was given. Jon was hitting targets set and opening new accounts. He had to attend boat show and Yacht Club talks where he received great feedback.

With a new position available within Premier Marinas it was a easy decision for Jon to transfer his skills to Chichester Marina where he became Lock Keeper. It was a very similar job as at Brighton but with a fully operation lock the main focus was set there. Customer service was very important within this job. Jon was using the Jet Powered Towboat to move boats to and from the hoist.

Jon joined the team at Brighton marina as he wanted to be back on the water where he belonged. As apart of a team of 4, Jon was the berthing master at the largest Marina in the UK. It was his job to look after visiting yachts, berth holders and the Fuel and Lock operations. Jon worked on Shift patterns doing days and Nights. He was the first point of call for any emergencies at the marina.

TeamSport had just opened a new centre in Brighton with state of the art Karts and Track. Jon joined them there after being approached by the Directors asking him to promote the new centre. Up sales were a main focus with Jon heading up this team as well as the day to day running of the track.. After the first 6 months of opening, TeamSport Brighton was the Top turnover track in the UK with great feedback on the centre and team.

Larson Boats UK imported the brand since 2001 and was selling over 100 boats a year. Jon Joined them at the age of 17 as a Trainee Sales Executive but after a year had proved himself and became head of Retail Sales. Jon stayed there for 6 years having sold hundreds of boats including 11 boats just on the last Sunday of the 2009 London Boat Show. Jon also gained BMF Brokerage Law and Web Marketing. As part of new boat sales Jon trained in PDI and Servicing with Mercruiser, Volvo and Suzuki.

Jon was in charge of the 8m Rib based in Gunwhalf Quay, Portsmouth. Preparing client with safety equipment and briefings before taking them on charters around the South Coast. The Rib was used for Corporate and Personal charters. Jon was also asked to helm the 8m rib for Trafalgar 200 in 2005 for some very Special Clients.
