As Network Manager I lead a team of highly skilled IT Professionals. Together we manage the day to day running of all network/server systems. As the senior member of a small close knit team of systems administrators, I was responsible for maintaining the Network, Voice, Data and Server systems. Starting as a part-time IT Support Technician, I quickly proved my worth and obtained a full time position. I worked as a member of the support team for three years, helping with all technology related issues while developing and applying my systems administration knowledge. In 2004 I was promoted to the role of Network Administrator, where I managed many of the critical services. Key duties included:• Oversee day to day operation of all network services (file, print, email, internet and backup)• Provide high level technical support• Provide professional development sessions to staff• Develop and maintain the standard operating environment for all desktop and laptop computers• Mentoring junior staff• Managing the implementation of major projects (SAN implementation, backup system and online web portal)
