I managed the development of new products from conception through to maufacture. I was responsible for quality for all existing products and push forward continuing improvements and cost reductions. I worked closely with marketting to ensure our product roadmap and vision fit the markets needs, I organised production and manage change notifications. I worked closely with the electronics team, manufacturing engineers, production managers, test engineers, service engineers and quality control. I advised internally on Electronics and Internet of Things type technology and I attended monthly meetings with the GDC directors to update on progress.In addition to my main role I set up and ran a monthly innovation event within GDC where I encourage staff members to present technology and ideas. I also organised people from outside the group to present.
