As Main Board Land Director, my role is to acquire land for our business throughout the South East of England; inner and Greater London being the main focus. Our land acquisition criteria is for sites with a GDV from £20m (if local to our office in Enfield) through to large scale opportunities of up to 1,000 homes on both brown and greenfield sites; end sales price point between £350 and £1,000psf. Given our expertise in the delivery of planning permissions we are happy to acquire sites on an unconditional basis although will also buy consented sites or do deals on a STP basis. The sweet-spot is an unconditional deal for 250 apartments in Greater London where capital values are in the main below £600,000. As always, I will respond quickly to all development sites brought to my attention and I look forward to receiving details of any opportunities that you consider would be of interest. We pride ourselves on being able to acquire sites quickly with no need for external approvals, purchases being made from our own internal cash resource.

Jon joined the Mount Anvil team in 2005 and his determination and professionalism have helped Mount Anvil become one of the most successful land buying companies in London. He is responsible for Mount Anvil’s development pipeline - sourcing, appraising and negotiating major land deals, and developing relationships with the stakeholders that enable those schemes to be brought to life.He worked previously as a Development Manager for Berkeley Homes and was a Chartered Surveyor with Strettons. Jon holds a degree in Land Management from the University of East London and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
