I have worked in the manufacturing industry for a little over 10 years. In that time I have been a material handler, batcher/mixer tech, internal auditor and my current role is team lead for the receiving department. My daily duties include delegating tasks to my team, scheduling manpower, monitoring my teams movements within SAP, training, ensuring a safe work environment, loading and unloading trucks, help with inventory control, warehouse organization and warehousing incoming raw materials. I have learned to utilize my critical thinking skills to be a better problem solver and leader to my team. I try to be innovative and am always thinking of better ways to make a process more efficient, safer and foolproof.
