I am passionate about driving change to create more diverse workforces and inclusive workplaces, so that everyone is treated with respect and has equal opportunities to fulfil their potential. I believe that organisations that are inclusive increase their value to all stakeholders and are a critical element in bringing about societal change. Following a 33 year career at PwC, I retired in June 2020. I now spend my time trying to add value to organisations who are driving positive change. I am a member of Diversity in Hospitality, Travel and Leisure's (WiHTL) Advisory Board, a member of Diversity Project's Board and Advisory Council, a member of the Advisory Board of Money A&E, an Advisor to the Board of LGBT Great and have the privilege of mentoring a number talented individuals from all backgrounds, including supporting UpReach.At PwC, for my last decade I was the Global Financial Services People Leader and a member of the Global Financial Services Leadership Team, with responsibility for the network's strategic people issues, including a focus on creating a more diverse senior leadership. In addition, I was also the market leader of PwC's Global HR Consulting Financial Services practice, supporting organisations on their people challenges. I founded and led PwC's UK Diversity and Inclusion consulting practice, supporting organisations across all sectors on their diversity and inclusion challenges, including advising senior leadership on the business case for change and strategic approach, analysing data to provide insights, establishing accountability and governance frameworks, revising HR policies and processes and creating awareness and communication plans. I have led the research and launch of numerous reports on diversity and inclusion, including within the investment management, hospitality and leisure, travel, food and grocery sectors as well as on issues facing LGBT+ talent. I am a passionate ally for equality and am a frequent public speaker and contributor to the media and honoured to have been named one of Outstanding's Top 50 Ally Executives in 2019.
