Specializing in deep water unconventional drilling practices.Designed and implemented the first “ABS MPD ready notation” awarded MPD system on a drillship, globally. Heavily involved in marketing and tender preparation for deep water unconventional projects inclusive of client visits and follow up.I have also developed and taught multiple MPD training courses at Ocean Rigs internal training centre. This incorporates online, classroom and simulator based training utilizing the in-house DrillSim 6000 Cyberbase simulator with integrated MPD software tailored to Ocean Rig. In addition, I have served as the Chairman of the IADC MPD HSE and Training sub-committee.

Met clients to discuss their project needs and suggest optimal resolutions to difficult wells. This included HP/HT deep water applications where our experience with various MPD techniques globally, FEED, marine risers and equipment design was utilised to its fullest extent.

Iraq

Responsible for the financial day to day running of all Secure Drilling Service product line's including MPD, UBD, SWT, DST, AD, EPF, drilling with casing and Solid Expandable Systems.Responsible for the P&L of the four business units i was accountable for. Liaising with clients on current operations and also targeting new opportunities to increase our total available market share.

Iraq

I was involved with implementing operational policies and procedures and managing all activities involved with Underbalanced Drilling, Managed Pressure Drilling, RCD, Surface Well Testing and Early Production Facilities. This included managing, scheduling and safely executing all field and yard operations to ensure continuous company growth.Provided regular reports to the in-country management team to show the efficient performance of our field operations.Ensured that adequate safety standards were implemented and followed and that all KPI's were met.

Middle East And North Africa

Responsible for delivery of MPD packages in the MENA region.Maintained the project plan, scope, cost and ensured deadlines were met in time and within budget.Met clients to discuss their project needs and suggest optimal resolutions to difficult wells.
