I worked in a temporary position providing front-line service and support for the Anthropology and Archaeology undergraduates and academics at the University of Bristol. This role required me to look after queries and requests from our students, assessing each contact with a calm, logical and sympathetic approach.I was involved with front-line service, logistics and planning for exams, exam boards, and teaching, and handling coursework and exam papers in preparation for marking and return to students.

In this role, I supervised the Postgraduate application process for the School of Economics, Finance and Management. I joined Zipcar (then Streetcar) as a Member Services Associate, providing front-line customer service , trouble-shooting and support for members of the UKs largest car-sharing club.I progressed to the role of Senior Member Services Associate which equipped me with the skills necessary to handle more in depth queries, complaints and issues, and supervise the team in the absence of management.From there, I was promoted to the role of supervisor in the Member Services Team. I was responsible for floor managing the team with the other supervisors, ensuring the team hit its SLAs and targets, while reporting on KPIs to senior management.I managed a team of 10 Member Service Associates and Senior Member Services Associates, conducting coaching sessions, reviews, appraisals and disciplinary meetings where necessary.Finally, I was promoted to the role of Senior Supervisor and Trainer, taking on the management of the Member Service Night Team, as well as the creation and delivery of a new training package for all new recruits to the Zipcar Member Services Team. This training package was rolled-out across the European markets, ensuring a consistency of induction and alignment of goals for Zipcar EMEA (Europe, Middle-East and Africa).Additionally, I was involved in the launch of the Zipcar operation in France, helping the Paris office during their first weeks, providing valuable support, experience and training for the new team.
