I was the lead designer for this local start-up. We provided admin & end-user training for cloud based companies. Edward Tufte was our source of inspiration; I defined myself as an information designer and relied heavily on layout based design. My typical day included creating master templates for quick reference guides and user guides (using indesign) and e-learning tutorials (using adobe captivate). My other tasks included scoping projects, self-managing my day, and ensuring all current projects were on track with their projected delivery dates. › InDesign master templates typically involved complex styling that could be easily re-purposed/branded across numerous projects› Adobe Captivate tutorials typically walked end-users through SuccessFactors software using screenshots, videos, and mouse interactions. The end goal was to focus on the navigation and how users would interact with the demo.

I work as a self-employed graphic designer and am Doing-Business-As (DBA), JV Graphics. I primarily focus around vinyl lettering, but in the past have been contracted for branding, print and web design projects.
