Responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and performance delivery of the AXA UK Commercial business across intermediary and direct channels, playing an active role within the AXA UK & Ireland Management Committee as the longest serving member. As part of my responsibilities I am also a Board member on the AXA Insurance UK plc Board and a non-executive on the AXA Ireland DAC Board. Joined AXA in 2014 as Managing Director of the UK Commercial business, focused largely on driving the growth of the business through the intermediary channel; taking accountability for developing strategic broker relationships and aligning resources and capability to a growth agenda, whilst also launching a Mid-market proposition to the market. In 2018 promoted to Executive Managing Director, joining three Boards and taking full P&L responsibility for the business. Key achievements include:- Successful launch and implementation of a Mid-market proposition that now represents c. 50% of total GWP- GWP from 2014 has more than doubled with improving expense ratio and profit margin- Successful integration of the Direct business- Delivery of a new operating model aligned to move from a distribution to full P&L model

Responsible for the leadership and profitable growth of the personal lines business both mass and niche markets, including high net worth and over 50's insurance.

Responsible, initially on an interim basis, for the leadership of Capita's personal lines led business, with 800,000 policies managed either on behalf of affinity partners or through own brands. Recruited on a permanent basis following re-structure and held a no. Board roles.

Held a variety of leadership roles with each having P&L responsibility alongside the development and delivery of strategy and the execution of associated plans. Promoted to CEO of the Retail Division in 2010; a Board role.
