Worked closely with Chevron, Shell, BP, Wintershall, GDF to meet customer's needs. •Works as part of a team to install new products and conduct repairs of FMC equipment ensuring no rig lost time for FMC customers, while controlling expenses and remaining assets of FMC.•Ensures all equipment is on location, ready to use and functionally fit to ensure assembly will work prior to beginning each job. Obtains and reviews product running procedures. Completes required test documentation including Function Test, Installation, Maintenance and Preservation Procedures•Understands and follows all FMC and customer safety requirements. Performs all duties in safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area. Proactively pursues safe work practices, recommends safe work practices / procedures and participates in safety training. Practices good housekeeping in work areas.•Provides sales support through quality customer interface and keeps customer fully informed of all aspects of the job. Handles customer complaints in a professional manner•Prepares and submits required reports after completion of each job, as well as forward customer questions and complaints to proper personnel. •Assists as needed with the development of procedural requirements for current and future jobs.

•Operating centre lathes to manufacture engineering products from engineering drawings•Machining, turning and boring of metal products •Working in an organised/time efficient manner to meet customer shipping deadlines

•Confined space working (vessel entry) and fire-watching duties•Assisting tradesmen with jobs, i.e. laggers, mechanical fitters, industrial cleaning•Keeping the site clean and tidy, e.g. oil spills, removed potential hazards•Gaining experience working in and around oil and gas production systems •Developing an insight into day-to-day operations and also health and safety standards and environmental regulations.
