As a fifth-year Bioengineering and Biochemistry undergraduate at Northeastern University, my interest in biological research and the development of complex biomedical devices could largely be accredited to my older brother's genetic disorder and how a single base-pair mutation can completely alter the trajectory of a life. I aspire to develop my skills in both wet and dry labs to expand my contribution to the R&D and drug development industry as much as possible, hoping to potentially ease the experience of patients like him around the world. I hope to make a difference in the lives around me, whether it be professionally or in my own personal passion projects. Outside of bioengineering, I have a large interest in ocean conservation and marine biology as a whole, and hope to integrate my two passions together as I progress through my career.
